Mansory Brand History
Mansory was established in 1989 by Kourosh Mansory as a Munich-based workshop. In its early years, the company focused on modifications for British brands such as Rolls-Royce and Italian brands such as Ferrari. By mid-2001 it had relocated from its original Munich workshop to headquarters in Fichtelgebirge, with the current headquarters now located in Brand, Germany.
In November 2007 Mansory acquired the Porsche-tuning arm of Rinspeed AG while Rinspeed retained its Swiss base in Zumikon. The company has operated continuously since 1989 as a German luxury tuning firm known for creating exclusive redesigns of high-end vehicles.
Mansory Logo Evolution
1989 – Present: Classic Logotype

The Mansory logo has remained visually consistent since the company’s founding, reflecting a deliberate choice of timeless luxury aesthetics. Its core design has never undergone major redesigns despite the 2001 headquarters relocation or the 2007 acquisition.
- Design: Wordmark “MANSORY” in all capital letters using a classy serif typeface similar to Nimbus and Times New Roman, with the first letter M and last letter Y enlarged and stylized wings positioned on the left and right sides of the wordmark.
- Colors: Monochrome palette primarily in black and white, occasionally presented as silver on black.
- Changes: None; the core logo design has stayed unchanged from 1989 to the present.
- Context: The wings composed of four parallel horizontal lines of varying lengths create a light and airy appearance that balances the serif letterforms while reinforcing the brand’s positioning in the luxury tuning segment.
1989 – Present: Winged M Vehicle Badge

A distinct Mansory car logo variant is used when the emblem is placed directly on vehicles. This version functions as the practical expression of the brand’s visual identity on finished automobiles and has become synonymous with high quality and contemporary design trends in automobile tuning.
- Design: Silver metallic letter M with stylized wings enclosed in a circular badge, with the full “MANSORY” wordmark placed above the M along the perimeter of the circle.
- Colors: Silver elements on black background with silver outline.
- Changes: The badge format is a specialized application of the primary logo rather than a new design.
- Context: The Mansory emblem appears on customized vehicles as a mark of the brand’s luxury modifications while maintaining the same winged motif established at founding.
The stable use of the winged motif and serif typography across both the primary Mansory logo and its vehicle variant continues to support the company’s luxury positioning. This consistency in Mansory logo history demonstrates a clear link between the brand’s founding principles and its ongoing visual identity. The simple graphical elements and monochrome palette have ensured the logo’s continued relevance in the high-end automotive customization sector.
